Chicago police were looking for a man suspected in the sexual assaults of two women this month on the Far South Side . An 18-year-old man was shot in the head this morning while he was standing inside of a business on the  South Side in the city’s Englewood neighborhood.  The shooting happened about 12:30 a.m. on the 6600 block of South Halsted Street, said Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.

2 charged in Bakers Square armed robberies

Two men were charged in connection with the armed robberies of two Bakers Square restaurants, including one that was held up Sunday night on the Far North Side , according to Chicago police. Eugene Wright, 37, of the 6300 block of South Sangamon Street, and Michael Morgan, 27, of the 10600 block of South Racine Avenue, were each charged with felony armed robbery in the holdups, police said. Bail was set at $400,000 each for Wright and Morgan when they appeared for their bond hearing on the charges today before Cook County Criminal Court Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil.
